DAILY PRAYER - February 12, 2025

Pray for Dr Dave Harvey and the Great Commission Collective to plant churches and strengthen leaders

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”
Matthew 28:18-20

DAILY PRAYER - February 10, 2025

Pray for our Great Commission Collective sister churches in Rwanda, whose pastors, leaders and church families have been greatly impacted by the heavy fighting and unrest in their area.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah.”
Psalm 46:1-7

DAILY PRAYER - January 31, 2025

Pray for the families of those whose lives have been lost in the tragic accident at Reagan Airport, for strength and protection over the first responders as their heroic work continues, for wisdom for community, military, and civic leaders as this tragedy has such a significant and layered impact, and for the hope of the gospel to comfort and transform a shocked and shaken community, country, and world.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.”
Psalm 121:1-3

DAILY PRAYER - January 29, 2025

Pray for new people to be drawn to the Lord

“Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
2 Corinthians 4:1-6
