Matt Gunderson

Interim Worship and Production Leader

A passion for people and a desire to walk with them through life is what drives Matt's ministry. While he is passionate about music and its purpose in worship, his greatest joy is drawing people closer to Christ through discipleship.

Though he grew up in a military family, moving through 4 states and 2 countries, Matt did not find his home in Christ until later in life. After finally surrendering to God’s call, he pursued a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Christian Care from Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary.

Matt is also a nearly 20-year veteran of the Army, currently serving with the U.S. Army Field Band at Ft. Meade. This unique combination of experiences—from studying music history and clarinet performance to serving his country—has given him a diverse background to connect with people from all walks of life.

He has been married to his wife, Erin, for 20 years, and they are blessed with three children.
