“TO GOD BE THE GLORY” 

Romans 16:25-27

Big Idea: To God be the glory now, always, and forever.

To God be the glory (Romans 16:25-27):

1) May you always remember that God is able (v. 25a)

1a) “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” – Romans 1:16

1b) “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” – Ephesians 3:20-21

2) May you continually establish your hearts and lives in the gospel (v. 25b)

2a) “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of God will stand forever.” - Isaiah 40:8

2b) “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” – Colossians 2:6-7

3) May you always faithfully and fervently fulfill the Great Commission (v.25c-26)

3a) “through whom (Jesus) we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations, including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.” - Romans 1:5b

4) May you always passionately prioritize and pursue the glory of God (v. 27a)

4a) “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.” - Romans 11:36

5) May you always remember that it’s all about Jesus (v. 27b)
