“THE GOAL OF GOSPEL MINISTRY”
Colossians 1:24-2:5
Big Idea: The goal of gospel ministry is to present everyone mature in Christ.
Good gospel ministers…
1. Suffer and steward their lives for the spread of the gospel.
2. Strive without ceasing for the strengthening of God’s people.
4 strive-worthy signposts for strengthening God’s people:
1) Affirming God’s people in their togetherness.
2) Anchoring God’s people in the truth.
3) Alerting God’s people to the danger.
4) Assuring God’s people in their faith.
You are loved!
