Big Idea: Living Faithfully Leaves A Lasting Legacy

Deuteronomy 31-34

A Legacy Of Courageous Faith Is Marked By:

1) Being Transformed By God’s Presence (31:1-8)

3 Fear Busters (v. 8):
1. The Lord has gone before me

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
-Hebrews 4:15-16

2. The Lord is with me

“I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
-Philippians 4:12-13

3. The Lord will not leave me or forsake me

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height or depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
-Romans 8:37-39

Cycles Of My Spiritual Journey

2. Finishing Faithfully Through God’s Grace (31-34)

4 Keys To Finishing Faithfully:
1) If I’m not dead, I’m not done
2) Realize the mission is bigger than me
