Big Idea: Jesus Plus Nothing Equals Everything
Joy = my daily supernatural delight in the person of God, my confident assurance in the purposes and power of God, and my ongoing choice to continually worship God
Components Of Daily Joy:
1) Looking Out (v. 1-2)
“For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.”

2) Looking Up (v. 3)

Joy Multipliers (v. 3):
1) Worshipping the right way
“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

2) Glorifying the right thing
“But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.”

3) Putting my confidence in the right place
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”
